Joanne M. Beaulieu - North Smithfield

Joanne M. Beaulieu, 78, of North Smithfield, R.I., passed on surrounded by her loving family on May 22, 2014, after a long illness at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center in Providence, R.I.

She was the loving wife of Philip Beaulieu. She was born in Woonsocket, R.I., a daughter of the late Joseph and Lillian (Russell) Senn.

Joanne worked for the North Smithfield High School lunch program and also was a town bus monitor. Before that she also worked for the former CD Burnes Company and was a switchboard operator for the former New England Telephone Company.

She lived most of her life in North Smithfield and was a loving wife and mother.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her two daughters, Deborah Bacon and her fiancé Craig Beausoleil of Lincoln and Diane Vadenais and her husband Dennis of North Smithfield; seven grandchildren, Stacey Bacon, Alicia Costa, Peter Bacon, Ashley Burrell, Brian Bacon, Brian Vadenais and Valerie Vadenais; and four great-grandchildren, Avery Bacon, Dominic Baez, Lilianna Baez, and Savannah Vadenais. She also is survived by two sisters, Lorraine McGale of Snug Harbor, R.I., and Carol Kalberer of East Greenwich; and one brother, Joseph Senn of Arizona.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, May 31 at 10 a.m. in St. John’s Church, Church St., Slatersville. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Home & Hospice Care of RI 1085 North Main St. Providence RI 02904. Arrangements are entrusted to the Keene-Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville Rd., North Smithfield.
