Mr. and Mrs. Brunetti celebrate 60 years

WOONSOCKET – Leno and Violet Brunetti celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a party given by their family at the Coachmen's Lodge. The couple also enjoyed a trip to Universal Studios, given to them by their children.

The couple were married on May 4, 1957, at Holy Family Church in Woonsocket. Mrs. Brunetti is the former Violet Payne.

The couple are the parents of Carl Brunetti and his wife, Mary Ann, of Lincoln; Paula Brunetti of Pascoag; David Brunetti and his his wife, Joanne, of Harrisville; Bryan Brunetti of Woonsocket; and Steven Brunetti of Smithfield.

They are the grandparents of Mike Brunetti and his wife, Janelle, of Clinton, Mass.; Lisa Burnham and her husband, Nick, of Blackstone; Karen Brunetti of Lincoln; Adam and Em Brunetti of Woonsocket; and Tyler Brunetti of Harrisville. They are the great-grandparents of Adalyn Brunetti of Clinton, Mass.

Mrs. Brunetti was a telephone operator at New England Telephone Company and an inspector at Tech Industries in Woonsocket for more than 20 years. She enjoys bocce, pitch and bowling.

Mr. Brunetti graduated from Bryant College in 1955 and served in the U.S. Army from 1955-1957. He worked at Woonsocket City Hall as the manager of the Board of Canvassers from 1973-1999. He also enjoys bocce, pitch and bowling.
