Summer reading program begins at Greenville Library

SMITHFIELD – Greenville Public Library will host its summer reading program, with the theme of Build a Better World, from June 26 to Aug. 9.

Children ages 3½ -11 of all abilities are invited to join. Activities will include reading, engaging programs, a variety of performances, drawing with a comic book artist, 3D printing, world dance and more. Registration for the program is June 19-24.

Intro to a Bee’s World will be held Saturday, June 24, at 11:30 a.m. Children ages 5-10 are invited to this program, presented by the Rhode Island Beekeepers Association. Visit the children’s room desk to register or call 401-949-3630, ext. 2.

Hampstead Stage Company will present “Beauty and the Beast” at the library on Tuesday, June 27, at 1 p.m. Children ages 4-11 and their parent/caregivers are invited to this program.
