Scituate students receive gold and silver medals, perfect scores at health occupations competition

SCITUATE – Scituate High School students in the school’s Health Occupations Students of America Future Health Professionals club scored gold and silver medals, and perfect scores, at the 2018 Rhode Island HOSA State Leadership Conference held March 16 at Johnson & Wales University.

Students from the SHS biomedical science program represented two CPR and first aid teams, a health education group and a community awareness team.

The students received a gold medal with a perfect score in community awareness, and a silver medal in health education.

The students have the opportunity to attend the 41st annual International Leadership Conference being held in Dallas, in June.
