Central Falls Athletic Hall of Fame induction dinner is May 17

CENTRAL FALLS -- The Central Falls High School Athletic Hall of Fame Committee recently announced the Class of 2018 that will be inducted into the school's Athletic Hall of Fame on Thursday, May 17, at Twelve Acres Restaurant in Smithfield.

This year's class includes Joseph Osediacz (Class of 1965), Lou Tager ('72), Mike Mitchell ('77), Gail Turgeon-Greendyke ('78), Carlos DePina ('84), Jason Gagne ('93), Kelly Bianchi ('96), former boys' soccer coach Bobby Marchand and girls' volleyball coach Nick Pagliaro, and the Warriors' 2005 football team, which won the Division IV championship and was led by head coach Mo Jackson and assistants Jeff Jeff Lapierre, Anthony Ficocelli, and Wes Pennington.

Also receiving the Lifetime Warrior Award will be Paulette Barden.

A social hour at 6 p.m. will begin the night's festivities. Dinner will be at 7 p.m., and the induction ceremony will follow. No tickets will be sold the night of the event.
