Mancini Center lists upcoming activities

NORTH PROVIDENCE – The Salvatore Mancini Resource and Activity Center, 2 Atlantic Blvd., plans the following events.

A Memorial Day celebration will be held Wednesday, May 23, at 11 a.m., featuring a Korean War Veterans Color Guard Ceremony followed by entertainment with Ken Morracco. For dining reservations, call 401-231-0742 by Friday, May 18.

The following classes are offered to members. New memberships are welcomed.

• Zumba is offered on Thursdays from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

• Ceramics classes will begin in June on Tuesdays, from 9 to 11 a.m. The cost is $20 for four classes. Ceramics sessions must be pre-paid in full at the first class of each month. The class includes paints, brushes, glazes, unlimited glazing and kiln usage. Ceramic pieces are not included and must be purchased separately. Fee is due at registration. Space is limited. The registration deadline is Friday, May 25.

• Salsa and dance aerobics classes are offered on Fridays from 1 to 2 p.m. Learn to dance the salsa, swing, merengue, samba and bachata. No partner or experience required.
