Butterfly Garden cleanup helpers earn thanks

On behalf of my deceased step-father, Herb O’Rourke, who spent countless hours during his “retirement” building the rock walls, the stone fountain, walkways, and fish pond at the Butterfly Garden at Chase Farm, I would like to thank the Albion Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts for their efforts in the spring cleanup project.

Many other people were responsible for the creation of the Butterfly Garden, which is enjoyed by folks from all over. The Lincoln Conservation Commission and their volunteers have also worked hard over the years to maintain the area.

The children and scout leaders should be very proud of their efforts to keep our town looking great, and everyone should be grateful for their hard work.
