PAWTUCKET – Pawtucket native Katherine Braganca, who was the only senior on this season’s Rhode Island College women’s tennis team, capped her exceptional career by earning Second Team All-Little East Conference honors in singles and doubles and helping the Anchorwomen repeat as LEC regular-season and tournament champions.

This marks the third straight season Braganca has earned All-LEC honors. This season, she posted an 11-0 record in fourth singles and a 9-7 mark at first doubles. She will graduate with a career record of 34-4 in singles and 33-17 in doubles.

Five of Braganca’s teammates also earned All-LEC honors, including North Smithfield sophomore Hailey Raskob, who was also named Second Team All-LEC in doubles. She went 17-0 in second doubles, and she also won 17 matches without a loss in singles, with 12 of the wins coming in the number five spot. Raskob was also named the LEC Tournament’s Most Outstanding Player.
