Albert J. Storti – Cumberland

Albert J. Storti, 79, passed away on Saturday surrounded by his loving family in the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence. He was the loving husband of Nancy R. (Hyland) Storti, they have been married for the past 51 Years.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Albert and Doris (Chappron) Storti. He has resided in Cumberland for more than 40 years, previously residing in Pawtucket.

Albert was a man of many hobbies which included restoring old cars, spending time in New Hampshire with his family where he would enjoy skiing and boating on Lake Winnipesaukee.

He was a communicant of St. Aidan Church, Cumberland where he was also a Cub Scout Den Leader.

Albert received his MBA from Bryant College in 1980 and was also a graduate of Wentworth Institute in 1959.

He was employed by the Foxboro Company, Foxboro, Mass., for more than 40 years as an Engineering Manager.

Along with his wife, he is survived by his two sons, Keith J. Storti and his wife, Melissa, of South Kingstown, and Eric A. Storti and his wife, Jane, of North Providence. One brother, Michael A. Storti, of East Greenwich; five grandchildren, Bryan, Claire, Lauren, Gianna and Eric J.; along with two nieces and two nephews.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Albert's Life Celebration to be held Thursday, December 27, 2018, with visiting hours from 4 to 7 p.m., and continue on Friday, December 28, 2018, at 9 a.m., in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., in the St. Aidan Church, Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Hope Hospice & Palliative Care Center, 1085 North Main Street Providence, RI 02904.
