Therese R. (Daneault) Petrin, 95, of Albion, passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 9, 2019, at St. Antoine Residence, North Smithfield. She was the beloved wife of the late Fernand H. Petrin.

Born in Mapleville, a daughter of the late Joseph and Zulema (Lusignan) Daneault, she had lived in Albion for over 65 years.

Mrs. Petrin was an active member of St. Ambrose Church, Albion. She was a volunteer for many years at L’Hospice St. Antoine and the former Ephpheta House. She was a member of the Golden Agers of Manville and Albion.

She is survived by her six loving children, Monique Goddard of Pascoag, Denise Jordan of Lynden, Wash., Suzanne Peipock of Cumberland, Francine Nelligan of Blackstone, Mass., Fernand H. “Pete” Petrin, Jr. of Hillsborough, N.C., and Little Compton Fire Chief and former Albion Fire Chief Richard Petrin of Somerset, Mass.; one sister, Grace Lamoureux of Hicksville, N.Y.; her 14 beloved grandchildren; her 20 beloved great-grandchildren; her one beloved great-great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Rita Audette.

Her funeral was held Jan. 12 from Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln, with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Ambrose Church, 191 School, Albion. Her burial followed in St. Ambrose Cemetery, Albion.
