Town of Smithfield / Planning Board Town of Smith eld, Rhode Island Public Hearing NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Smith eld Town Council will hold a Public Hearing at the Smith eld Town Hall, 64 Farnum Pike, Smith eld, RI on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. The purpose of the Public Hearing is to consider and act upon pro- posed amendments to the following Article and Sections of the Zoning Ordinance. Amend Article 4 Use Regulations, 4.3 Table of Uses, by changing the use designa- tion of F-3 Restaurant with Drive-Thru from prohibited (N) to permitted (P) in the Village (V) zoning district and by adding the following language to 4.4 F-3: A restaurant with drive-thru in a Village District shall only be permitted in a pre-existing multi-tenant commercial plaza with a pre-existing drive-thru. At said Hearing opportunity will be given to all interested persons to be heard upon the proposed amendments. The proposals shown thereon may be altered or amended prior to the close of the Public Hearing, without further advertising, as a result of further study or because of the views expressed at the Public Hearing. Any alteration or amend- ment must be presented for comment in the course of the Hearing. A complete copy of the proposed amendments are available for inspection or copying at the Smith eld Planning Of ce, Town Hall, 64 Farnum Pike, Smith eld, Rhode Island during regular business hours (8:30 AM 4:30 PM, Monday Friday).
