Leo A. ‘Pete’ Pare – Cumberland

Leo A. “Pete” Pare, 64, of Cumberland, passed away Thursday, February 28, 2019, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband and best friend of Tina L. (Sykes) Pare.

Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of Alice (Goulet) Pare and the late Roland Pare. He resided in Cumberland for over 45 years, previously residing in Blackstone, Mass.

Mr. Pare was the owner of Ocean State Forms Inc. since 1972, working with his sons in recent years.

Pete was an extremely hard worker who was attentive to detail and always was planning ahead. Those who will miss him will always remember his adoring love of his wife, his caring and empathetic nature, and his dedication to his family.

Leo, his wife, and family would spend time at their family retreats in Littleton, N.H., and the "Lake House" at Lake Ossipee, N.H., where he would enjoy fishing, boating, camping, hiking, jet-skiing, and snowmobiling. The lake house was a time for the family to grow, love and share together and the 4th of July celebrations will be a memory that will be treasured forever. Most recently, Pete enjoyed being a member at the Beagle Club in Cumberland where he would spend time as a volunteer, helping to upgrade the facility and grounds, as well as taking some time for target shooting.

In addition to his wife, he leaves his seven children, Daniel Pare, Greg Pare, Dale Pare, Micayla Pare, Alexander Pare, Jesica Holmes, and Paul Martinelli Jr.; his siblings, Diane Robidoux, Roland Pare, Michael Pare and Jean Perani; his nine grandchildren, Hunter, Ariana, Cole, Mason, Adonnis, Sacaria, Abbey, Marissa and Little Leo, who is on the way; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Charlotte Pare.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Pete's Life Celebration to be held Wednesday, March 6, 2019, with visiting hours from 4 to 8 p.m., and continuing on Thursday, March 7, 2019, at 9 a.m., in the J.
