Police looking for BB-gun vandal

LINCOLN - The Lincoln Police Department is looking for assistance in identifying the parties responsible for a rash of vandalism that occurred Monday night around 9 p.m. in the Manville section of Lincoln.

Approximately 14 parked vehicles sustained damaged windows from someone firing a BB-gun. Police believe the responsible parties were traveling around in a light-colored coupe with tinted windows.

Capt. Phil Gould told The Valley Breeze that police think the suspect or suspects may have hit other local communities as well including Cumberland, Burrillville and North Smithfield.

“If these cases are not connected it’s pretty ironic,” Gould said.

If anyone has information on these incidents they are asked to contact Detective Bousquet at 401- 333-1111.

Police are also asking anyone with home surveillance cameras to check for any suspicious activity from approximately 9 p.m. until 11:30 p.m. on Monday night.
