Raimondo announces CRUSH COVID RI app

PROVIDENCE – Gov. Gina M. Raimondo and Dr. Nicole Alexander-Scott, director of the Rhode Island Department of Health, provided an update Tuesday on Rhode Island’s response to the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) crisis.

• CRUSH COVID RI: Raimondo announced the first version of CRUSH COVID RI, the state's pandemic response mobile app. Raimondo said the app will provide Rhode Islanders with access to all of the resources required during the public health crisis, including a location diary that helps users identify the people and places they are in contact with and a symptom checking survey. COVID-19 Data Update:
RIDOH announced 134 new cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday, bringing Rhode Island’s case count to 12,951. RIDOH also announced 26 additional COVID-19 associated fatalities. Rhode Island’s number of COVID-19 associated fatalities was 532 as of Tuesday.
