Fernande A. Robidoux – Lincoln

Fernande A. (Guerin) Robidoux, 92, of Manville, passed away on June 30, 2020, at the Holiday Retirement Home.

She was the beloved wife of the late Arthur J. Robidoux. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Julien J and Rose (Giguere) Guerin.

Fern worked as a secretary at her family business, The Florence Dye Works, and later as a secretary in the Woonsocket School Department for 30 years. She volunteered at Landmark Hospital, Harris Library, and St. Joan of Arc Church. She was also a member of the Apres Midi Club and in her retirement enjoyed playing scrabble at the Woonsocket Senior Center.

She is survived by her daughters, Pauline Girard of Providence, Felice Beauchemin and her husband, John, of Pennsylvania, and Monique Simard and her husband, Luke, of Blackstone. Fern loved spending time with her three grandchildren Emily, Joshua, and Lauren at her cottage in Narragansett during the summer months. She also loved visiting her two great-grandchildren Killian and Quinn Fagan on yearly trips to Pennsylvania. She was also survived by many dear nieces and nephews.

She was a nurturing soul who loved her family and friends and made everyone feel welcome.

She was the sister of the late Jean Paul, Marcel, Normand, and Pauline Guerin, Germaine Parmentier, Therese Vachon, Lucille Lambert, Antoinette Mailloux, Gloria Ferioli, Suzanne Vadenais, and Jacqueline Keegan.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited Friday, July 17, 2020, at 10 a.m., to a Mass of Christian Burial in the St. Joan of Arc Church, 3357 Mendon Road, Cumberland. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, 261 Wrentham Road, Cumberland. Visiting hours are Thursday, July 16, from 5 to 7 p.m., at the O’Neill Funeral Home, 3102 Mendon Road, Cumberland, R.I. Due to the current restrictions, social distancing and masks are required.
